Heavier strings have the effect of putting more tension on the neck which increases relief and action. The classic noob move with a guitar is to immediately try to fix string buzz at the bridge when a guitar arrives from the factory. If it doesn't help, loosen the strings again and put it back where it was.easy. Loosen the strings.and don't force anything. Based on what you have described, a 1/8th to 1/4th counterclockwise turn can fix it.and it's EASY to do. I've had a lot of experience with string buzz and adjusting truss rods. More relief should result in less string buzz. Slight relief often results in some string buzz. But, if this works, some of the saddles may need to be adjusted back to achieve perfect intonation. This could also reduce the buzz on the low E string. It's easy to loosen the truss rod a little bit, which will increase the relief and effectively raise the action on all the strings a bit. This is why I suggested trying to adjust the truss rod. There is not one right spot for relief.there's a range.
